How to Make an Air Freshener with Your Logo
There are three ways to create a custom air freshener with your logo:
1. Stock Shapes: Choose from 31 available symmetrical shapes. Stock shapes come in clear wrapping, offer lower pricing, color string options, and support readable text on both the front and back sides.
2. Custom Shape Tool: Design your own shape using our self-serve tool. Note that custom shapes come in branded packaging at a higher price point. When uploading your logo, the first thing to determine is whether your design is symmetrical or non-symmetrical, as this affects which cropping method to use.
2.1 Symmetrical Logos
- AI Crop — Automatically crops your image into a symmetrical shape. You can also add a background color using this flow.
- Expert Crop — Manually crop your image based on the logo's shape. Because it's symmetrical, the result will be readable on both sides of the freshener.
2.2 Non-Symmetrical Logos
Non-symmetrical logos require more consideration because mirroring the design flips the image and causes any text to appear backward.
There are two options you can choose from for your design if your logo is non-symmetrical: AI Crop and Expert Crop
- AI Crop — White space will be added around your design to force it into a symmetrical shape
If your image contains embedded text, our system will automatically detect it and display a warning message in red at the top left of the preview. If the "Symmetrical" option is not enabled, your artwork will be printed as shown below — with the text appearing mirrored/backwards on the back side.
However, if you enable the "Symmetrical" option, white space will be added around your design to create a symmetrical shape, ensuring the text remains readable on both sides — as shown in the example below.
- Expert Crop — For non-symmetrical shapes, the back side will appear mirrored with backwards text, you will need a different design. Common options for the back include a QR code or text-based design. To use this option, contact support and provide images and design requirements for the backside and we'll update the backside design accordingly.
3. Custom Fresheners (Orders of 2,500+) If you need a large order, require a custom shape with clear wrapping, or want help from a sales rep with design, contact Custom Fresheners and submit a quote. They specialize in custom shapes and can potentially handle custom shape logos.
